Preparation of analyses, studies, project documentation, securing investment, implementation, and supervision of the construction of Croatia’s first municipal biomass district heating plant in Pokupsko, with a capacity of 1 MW and a 1.5 km heating network. Operational since 2015, this €1.5 million investment was financed through the IPARD pre-accession program and the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund. The system provides heating for public buildings and 30 households, and in 2016, it won the prestigious EUSEW award for the best sustainable energy project.
