SMART & DIGITAL

WHAT IS OUR IN-HOUSE KNOWLEDGE AND WHAT CAN REGEA OFFER?

Creating strategies for smart cities and smart villages.

Assistance in managing smart building construction projects: defining the project task of the automation project; defining technical specifications for peripherals; monitoring the installation of equipment, defining the process of optimizing the operation of the system through facility and energy management.

Development of Concepts, Studies, Plans and other documents required for the implementation of integrated or segmental solutions in the field of smart and sustainable mobility in the context of green and digital transition and adaptation to climate change.

Leading and monitoring the project of implementation of the proposed solutions throughout the entire life cycle of a project (from the initial idea to the final implementation).

Connecting and mediating all key stakeholders in these and in other areas needed for the full success of the project.

Framework strategy of a smart city - Zagreb Smart City

This Framework Strategy was developed by Working groups for the development and implementation of smart city projects – Zagreb Smart City established in October 2016 based on the Decision of the Mayor of the City of Zagreb, whose members are representatives of all relevant city offices, departments, institutions, and companies. A vast number of external collaborators participated in the development of the Framework Strategy, mostly as authors of individual text chapters for specific areas of expertise.
The most important and textually the most comprehensive part of the Framework Strategy are the concrete measures or activities that need to be implemented to fulfill the vision and achieve the goals set for the strategic areas. A total of 27 priority measures, grouped by strategic areas have been identified.

SenzoriKA – Energy-Smart schools

A pilot project was implemented in two schools in Karlovac County. This project integrated the collection of data in relation to the consumption in real time, timely detection of failures and irregularities in the energy and water supply system, monitoring air quality in the premises, monitoring the interdependence of the conditions within the premises (temperature, CO2) as well as the energy consumption and finally the verification of actual savings reached upon completion of the renovation project of the building. The smart system includes the use of indoor air quality sensors, measuring devices for remote reading of energy and water consumption, IoT network for data transmission and software user interface for data monitoring and analysis.

Green and Mobile Brdovec - New Mobility Study of Brdovec Municipality

The study aims to look at the topic of mobility in the Municipality of Brdovec in order to comprehensively, systematically, methodologically and interdisciplinary understand the challenges and in the context of integrated sustainable urban development to offer effective solutions for new green, smart and sustainable mobility. From the Concept, which consists of 7 segments, comes the Decision proposing the implementation of 20 measures for the creation of Green and Mobile Brdovec. The measures propose to invest a total of estimated HRK 120 million in the establishment of public bus transport with electric buses, in the creation of cycling infrastructure – a network of bicycle routes, in transport infrastructure and green energy with new mobility models including infrastructure for charging electric vehicles and the development of solar power plants and in the elements of connection (integration, informatization, digitalization, communication, education). The study was prepared for the Municipality of Brdovec by REGEA with the following partners: The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb, Department of Engines and Vehicles and Elipsa-S.Z. d.o.o. for traffic planning and designing.

Among the six priorities of the European Commission for the period between 2019 and 2024 are the European Green Deal and A Europe fit for the digital age. The EU’s digital strategy aims to make this transformation a success for people and businesses, while helping to achieve the 2050 goal of a climate-neutral Europe. The Commission is determined to make this decade the European “digital decade”. Europe must now strengthen its digital sovereignty and set standards, instead of following others – with a clear focus on data, technology and infrastructure.
On 9 December 2020, the European Commission presented a new Strategy on Sustainable and Smart Mobility, stemming from the European Green Deal. The strategy is structured around three key objectives: to make the European transport system sustainable, smart and resilient. The strategy sets out an action plan with concrete measures, structured in 10 key areas in the years to come through the intersection of the 2030, 2035 and 2050 targets.
