Project description
EXCEL4HOUSING4.0 is a transnational Erasmus+ Centre of Vocational Excellence focused on empowering the construction and housing sectors to meet the green and digital transitions. The project creates a strong network of VET providers, academia, industry, and public authorities to co-develop solutions addressing emerging skill demands in energy efficiency, green building technologies, and sustainable housing.

Through a multi-cluster approach, the project aims to foster cross-border innovation, develop industry-relevant training programmes, strengthen business-education cooperation, and ensure long-term sustainability through governance and financing mechanisms. The initiative supports the implementation of the European Green Deal and the Twin Transition strategies in the built environment sector.

Project objectives

  • Promote inclusive and flexible upskilling/reskilling pathways
