EIT RIS Hub Croatia
The RIS program has been designed to help boost the innovation in urban mobility within those countries and regions classified as emerging or moderate innovators.
EIT RIS Hub Croatia was established in 2021 and is composed of the most prominent actors in the UM ecosystem in Croatia: Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing Zagreb (UNIZG-FER), INVENTO Capital partners, Croatian Telekom and North-West Croatia Regional energy Agency as a HUB coordinator.
The role and main objective of the RIS HUB Croatia is to set up a functional platform (integrator) for cooperation that will enable further and faster UM projects deployment in Croatia. The RIS Hub is a focal point to create favorable conditions for systemic integration of necessary elements to foster urban mobility stronger deployment in Croatia. Individually, but then jointly we connect and support under the pentahelix approach:
- Local and regional governance (enablers of infrastructure deployment)
- Academia (developers of solution, innovation providers, education)
- Local and regional governance and bussiness support organizations (enablers of integration)
- Business and industry
- Decision makers (policy and regulatory environment)
This activity is supported by EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union. EIT Urban Mobility acts to accelerate positive change on mobility to make urban spaces more liveable. Learn more: eiturbanmobility.eu
